I am very glad that I turned this challenge into a fundraiser for the school! Knowing that I have the support of the staff, parents and children is really what is motivating me at this point in my determination to reach the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The children have been learning about Tanzania and made beautiful posters of Africa and the mountain  - one in each class. They ask me questions on a daily basis about the climb. It is hard for the very young ones to grasp  - some of them want to know why I am still here if I am supposed to be on the mountain! That concept of the passage of time is not quite formed!
